About Us

Intelligreen Partners LLC

Founded in 2009 by Valerie Corbett, IntelliGreen Partners (IGP) is a Certified Women-owned Business (WBE) by New York City and New York State, specializing in energy efficiency advisory and project management services, compliance with NYC’s Green Building Laws, fuel conversions, and accessing financing and incentives to implement energy efficiency retrofit projects.

IGP enables multifamily and commercial building owners to adopt “whole building” energy conservation strategies designed to increase their building’s value.  As Owner’s Representative, we help building owners to:

  • prepare a strategic Energy Efficiency Action Plan to mitigate the risk of annual fines under LL97’s carbon emissions limits,
  • implement and manage their Energy Efficiency Action Plan,
  • improve their LL33 Energy Efficiency Grade which must be prominently posted annually,
  • initiate and manage the entire common area lighting retrofit,
  • benchmark their building’s energy and water consumption under LL84,
  • complete their LL87 Energy Audits,
  • reduce the building’s energy use,
  • save thousands of dollars in annual operating costs,
  • reduce the building’s carbon emissions, and
  • provide tenants with a comfortable and affordable living environment.

Allen Hobbs, Senior Vice President and Counsel, has over 26 years of experience as a litigator in state and federal courts.  He used his knowledge of the complex online information research necessary in electronic discovery to obtain two US patents which enhance online data mining by digitally embedding human search judgment in text, audio or video.

As an attorney, GPRO Certified and BPI Certified Multifamily Building Analyst (MFBA), Allen analyzes the results of existing green building information processes, and then develops databases to record data so that IGP has immediate actionable information. This ensures close management by IGP of the complex coordination of various municipal agencies with the utility or energy service company, design engineer, property manager and the client, and the rapid, timely and efficient accomplishment of Design/Build projects, LL97, LL84, LL87 and gas conversion projects.

As municipal ordinances and state statutes evolve to meet the demand of sustainable design and reduced energy use, he expanded his practice in IGP to review local ordinances and state standards, to ensure compliance by IGP’s clients with statutory or regulatory requirements, and to assist clients to take advantage of any potential financing or government and utility energy efficiency incentives.
