Under LL95 (LL95 of 2019 Amends LL33 with More Stringent Energy Efficiency Grades), starting in 2020 and based on the 2019 LL84/09 Benchmarking results, buildings greater than 25,000 square feet in size must display an Energy Efficiency Grade at public entrances. Grades will range from A to F and will be based on EPA Portfolio Manager ENERGY STAR® scores.

The Energy Efficiency Grade must be prominently posted by November 1, 2020 and will look something like this:

Real estate brokers believe that these new Energy Efficiency Grades could affect the sales price of a commercial property, or residential co-op or condo unit. IGP will help you to:

  • prepare for LL97 of 2019 Building Energy and Carbon Emissions Limits
  • prioritize energy efficiency projects to improve your grade

  • access utility company, NYC, NY State and Federal incentives and tax benefits, including PACE loans,
