In accordance with the Sabbath holy days, the tenants cannot accept lighting occupancy sensors. As an energy efficiency alternative to having the lights on 24/7 in the common areas, the owner wanted to test Sabbath Lighting (Bi-level LEDs), which are pre-programmed using a special App to go on full strength only on the Sabbath holy days. The rest of the time the common area fixtures can rely on the integrated bi-level occupancy sensors without controversy.
