Greening Co-ops: Speaking from Experience is a panel discussion about how New York City co-ops are exploring new energy efficiency and greening initiatives for a variety of reasons – lower energy bills, new financing options, new city building efficiency requirements, increased comfort, and concerns about climate change, sponsored by the Urban Green Expo 2010.

Valerie Corbett, IntelliGreen Partners, presents on How Co-ops and Condos Must Comply with NYC’s New Green Building Regulations

Diane Nardone, President of the Board, 11 Fifth Avenue, discusses the transformation to energy efficiency she led for her building in Greenwich Village, including converting from No. 6 oil to natural gas, co-generation, sub-metering and green roofs, among other things. She also discusses what it was like working with NYSERDA in the Multifamily Performance Program, which was suspended part-way through the construction project.
